The town of the poet Antonin Sova with a lot of monuments, a park and the museum of the poet. This place is very important for motorcycle sport. At the beginning of 20th century Pacov was the place where the idea of establishment of an international motorcycle federation was brought forth. Lately it was realized in Paris on 22nd December 1904 at the first Congress of FIM. Two years later (8th July 1906) first international motorcycle contest took place at Pacov’s circle. This event is commemorated on the memorial board set on a chateau wall or you can visit the exposition of mono-track vehicles with a veteran of the contest at the Kamen castle.
